US Badminton
About US
US Badminton Amsterdam is a badminton club for students and graduates. We are part of the University Sportscentre (US), a multi-sport-association once founded by the UvA, with sports like volleyball and basketball. Training, home-matches as well as tournaments for most sports are situated at the Wibaut Sportscentre. We host serious training and competition, but most of all we value our student-like charm: a pleasant atmosphere around the courts and during our activities. Many a friendship and relationship have been founded at our club.
About sixty near eighty members play in the competition, varying from the district's fourth class (beginners with some years of experience) until the fourth division (expert players).

You can also join US on our US-weekends, dart or squash tournaments, picknicks or barbecues… And to end this lucrative offer, we should mention our organisation of a renowned international badminton tournament for students, the ISBT Amsterdam. This takes place every year in May.
